I’m a sucker for Ports. And just now the Sommelier from one of my local favorite haunts came up and shoved this in my face and said, ‘TASTE THIS! NOW!” Its the PER BACCO ZINFANDEL PORT. And I have to agree…YUM. Lucious ripe prune, raisins and dried fruit. A little almond note and some added heat. It’s nice to have something out of Paso that’s not all sticky sweet! Pairs well with…mmmmmm…a nice Maduro cigar and a fun social circle!
